On Monday, September 6, Labour Day, a Sunday schedule will operate, so only those routes that normally run on Sunday will be in service.

How did OC Transpo perform in 2009?

The 2009 Annual Performance Report is both a snapshot and a scorecard of how transit services were planned, operated and managed in 2009. Transit performance highlights for 2009 include:

 

  • an unprecedented ridership level in the second half of 2009, and highest December ridership ever;
  • an increase in the percentage of scheduled bus trips placed into service, while operating the largest number of bus trips in over four years;
  • a steady improvement in on-time performance, with the express routes reaching 83% in the morning against one of the most ambitious targets in the industry; and
  • an increase in criminal offences acted upon, thanks to smarter than ever security techniques.
